1.    General rules and Junior rules apply to this show.

2.     THERE WILL BE TWO SHOWS THIS YEAR.  SHOW A WILL START AT 8:00 A.M. AND SHOW B WILL START AFTER SHOW A.  EXHIBITORS WISHING TO PARTICIPATE IN SHOW B, MUST SHOW IN SHOW A.

3.      Exhibitors will weigh and ear tag their own goats.  Goats will not be allowed in show ring without ear tag, but existing ear tags may be used or a tag will be furnished.  Weights should be turned in as soon as possible and must be turned in by 7:00 p.m. Friday.  Goats will be divided into five classes as follows:

Class I 64 lbs. & under Class II 65-73 lbs.
Class III 74-81 lbs. Class IV 82-91 lbs.
Class V 92 lbs. & over    

4.     Wether and doe kids may be shown.

5.     No paint, powder or artificial coloring is allowed.  Market Goats must be slick shorn to a uniform length (3/8 inch of hair or less above the hock and knee joint at time of show).  Exception:  tail hair is allowed.

6.     There will be a 30 pound minimum weight and no maximum weight limit.  There will be a 3 pound weigh back on top of the class.  Any goat weighing 3 pounds over the top of the class will be disqualified.

7.     Exhibitors will be allowed to use halters or collars in the show ring.  Exhibitors are responsible for keeping their animals in assigned pens.  Some goats may need to be tied.

8.     Horns should be tipped before arrival on show grounds.

9.     Exhibitors must be nine years old or in the third grade, but not more than nineteen years old and not graduated from high school and be a 4-H or FFA member.  There is no pee wee division.
