Sunday, August 31, 2008 Enter Exhibits Noon to 6:00 p.m.
Monday, September 1, 2008 Enter Exhibits  Noon to 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, September 2, 2008 Enter Exhibits Noon to 9:00 p.m.
Sunday, September 14, 2008 Pick Up Entries 10:00 a.m. -   2:00 p.m.

Special Rules

1.        All entries in Collections are subject to the General Rules & Regulations of the Creative Arts Division as published herein.  PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.

2.        No exhibitor will be allowed to enter more than eight (8) articles in a collection.  The only exception will be a mounted display, size not to exceed 24” x 24”, entry limit one (1) collection per division.

3.        Display equipment, such as curio cabinets, etc. will NOT be supplied by the Department or the Fair.  Such equipment, if required, will be supplied by the exhibitor, and it is his/her responsibility to deliver and pick up such equipment.

4.        Each entrant will supply an information card, 3” x 5”, with each collection.  Each card should contain the following information:

        A.       The number of items in the entire collection, not just the eight items.

        B.       Length of time they have been collecting.

        C.       Age of the oldest item in the collection.

        D.       Reason you started collecting, or some interesting information about the collection.

 

        JUDGING:  Each collection will be judged individually for merit.  In judging articles in collections, consideration will be given to:  1) Originality, 2) Condition, 3) Diversity and, 4) Note Card Information.

 Collection Department Divisions:

Division 1 Modern Collection
(Items less than 10 years old)

 Division 2 Early Modern Collection
(Items less than 50 years old)

Division 3 Antique Collection
(Items more than 50 years old)

Division 4 Mixed Age Collection
(Items range from Antique to Modern)
